Zhiqiang Ge; Male aged 45 years; Hospital residence number 233862 (on left above) Home address; WeiHai Road, North District of Qing Dao City. The patient had a constantly bloated and painful right abdomen. On 8th of August 2001 he entered teh Hai Chi Hospital of Qing Dao. The clinical examination showed a diagnosis of Hepetoma with the following characteristics; High differentiation rate, fractured bleeding, hard liver, bleeding shock, B and CT scan were all abnormal.
On the same day under general anaesthetic the patient had a resection of the hepatoma, however part of the cancer remained. After the operation the bleeding stopped, inflammation reduced. The patients condition improved. He then left hospital. The following information was recorded. August 17th the patient left the hospital and began to take Rg3 capsules, 2 capsules at a time 2 times per day, 2 months for one course of treatment. After 2 treatment courses, on 11th January 2002 the patient was re-examined by CT scan which showed the cancer to have gone. The hard liver syndrome had also gone. The examination was made by the executive doctor, Lianjiu Lu, who was the President of the cancer department. The doctor was very surprised and on further examination on 21st of January the patient was again re-examined. It was found that all the syndromes and all traces of the cancer had gone as the CT scan had previously shown.
